The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.
SASSA will be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency said it's alarmed regarding the significant variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no fully functional office dedicated to service the area every day. The support level designed for intervention activities a status sassa superior inflow of possible beneficiaries, which makes it challenging to the office to attend to all people who take a look at a service point.
